Complete fee transparency—all costs displayed before you confirm TED Protocol is designed to minimize costs while maintaining sustainable protocol economics. This page provides a complete breakdown of all fees involved in swaps and transfers.

Fee Components

Every transaction may involve up to four types of fees: Total cost depends on your specific transaction—same-chain stablecoin swaps are the cheapest, while cross-chain FX conversions involve more components.

Protocol Fee

TED Protocol charges a flat 0.1% fee on swap volume. Example: 1,000 USDT swap → Protocol fee $1.00 Fee Distribution:

DEX Fees

When swapping through integrated DEXs, standard pool fees apply: TED Protocol’s aggregator automatically routes to the option providing the best net output after accounting for these fees.

Bridge Fees

Gas Fees

Gas costs vary significantly by network: For cross-chain operations, you pay gas on both source and destination chains, though destination chain gas is typically minimal.

Gasless Fees

TED Protocol supports Gasless mode, allowing you to execute swaps without holding native tokens. A relayer submits the transaction on your behalf, and you pay fees with tokens you already hold. Fee tokens: You can reorder or disable fee tokens in the settings panel. The highest-priority token with sufficient balance is selected automatically. How gasless fees are calculated: Relayer fees are calculated dynamically based on gas usage and current network gas prices. The estimated fee is displayed before execution and will never exceed the maximum fee limit you set. Gasless execution methods: TED Protocol automatically selects the optimal execution path based on token and network support:
  • EIP-7702 — Execution via Account Abstraction
  • Permit2 — Token approval delegation through Uniswap’s Permit2 protocol
  • ERC-2612 Permit — Gasless approval using the token’s native Permit function
  • EIP-712 — Execution via meta-transaction signing
You don’t need to worry about execution methods—just sign in your wallet and the protocol handles the rest.

Cost Examples

Same-Chain Stablecoin Swap

10,000 USDT → USDC on Arbitrum Banks charge $300-800 for equivalent value—95%+ savings

Cross-Chain USDC Transfer

5,000 USDC from Ethereum to Base Wire transfers cost $25-50 plus 2-3 days wait time

Cross-Chain FX Swap

1,000 USDT on Ethereum → JPYC on Polygon Bank equivalent exceeds $60 (6%)—75%+ savings
