### General

  TED Protocol is a cross-chain stablecoin FX swap protocol. It enables fast, low-cost conversions between stablecoins across multiple blockchains with ultra-low slippage.

  No. TED Protocol is fully non-custodial. You sign all transactions from your own wallet, and the protocol never holds your funds.

<Accordion title="Which wallets are supported?">
  TED Protocol supports any EVM-compatible wallet including MetaMask, WalletConnect, Coinbase Wallet, Rainbow, and many others.

<Accordion title="Do I need an account?">
  No. There's no registration, no KYC, no account creation. Simply connect your wallet and start swapping.

### Swaps

<Accordion title="What tokens can I swap?">
  TED Protocol supports stablecoins pegged to major currencies: USD (USDT, USDT0, USDC, DAI, USDS, USDe, USD1), EUR (EURC), and JPY (JPYC). KRW stablecoins are coming soon.

<Accordion title="What is slippage?">
  Slippage is the difference between the expected price and the actual execution price. TED Protocol's multi-DEX aggregation minimizes slippage by finding the best rates across multiple liquidity sources.

<Accordion title="Why is my slippage so low?">
  TED Protocol uses multi-DEX aggregation across 5+ exchanges, intelligent route splitting, and stablecoin-optimized pools like Curve. For stablecoin pairs, slippage is typically less than 0.05%.

<Accordion title="What if my swap fails?">
  If a swap fails, your tokens are returned to your wallet (minus gas fees). Common failure reasons include slippage tolerance set too low, transaction expiration, or insufficient gas.

<Accordion title="How long do swaps take?">
  Same-chain swaps typically complete in 15-60 seconds. Cross-chain swaps take 1-5 minutes depending on the bridge and network conditions.

### Cross-Chain

<Accordion title="How do cross-chain swaps work?">
  Your tokens are swapped on the source chain, then the bridge transfers tokens to the destination chain, followed by a final swap if needed, and you receive tokens in your wallet. This all happens in one transaction from your perspective.

<Accordion title="Which bridges does TED Protocol use?">
  Circle CCTP handles USDC transfers with Circle attestation. LayerZero handles USDT and TEDP with DVN consensus. Wormhole handles general tokens with its guardian network.

<Accordion title="What if my cross-chain transfer is stuck?">
  Wait 15 minutes first, as bridges can be slow. Check the bridge explorer (LayerZero Scan or Wormhole Scan). Use the retry option in the TED Protocol UI. Contact support if still unresolved. Your funds are safe during delays.

<Accordion title="Can I cancel a cross-chain transfer?">
  Once initiated, cross-chain transfers cannot be cancelled. The transfer will complete once the bridge processes it.

### Fees

<Accordion title="What are the fees?">
  The protocol fee is 0.1% of the swap amount. Gas fees vary by network. Bridge fees for cross-chain transfers are approximately \$0.02-0.15.

<Accordion title="Why are fees so low?">
  Non-custodial design eliminates custody costs, efficient smart contracts minimize gas usage, an L2-first approach reduces fees, and stablecoin focus enables simpler logic.

<Accordion title="Are there hidden fees?">
  No. All fees are displayed before you confirm a transaction.

<Accordion title="What is Gasless mode?">
  Gasless mode lets you execute swaps without holding native tokens (ETH, BNB, etc.). Instead of paying gas fees, you pay with TEDP, USDT, or USDC, and a relayer submits the transaction on your behalf. Toggle Gasless mode on in the settings panel and set your fee token priority.

<Accordion title="How are gasless fees calculated?">
  Relayer fees are calculated dynamically based on gas usage and current network gas prices. The estimated fee is displayed before execution so you can review it. You can choose from TEDP, USDT, and USDC as fee tokens, and set their priority order.

### TEDP Token

<Accordion title="What is TEDP?">
  TEDP is TED Protocol's native governance and utility token. It serves multiple functions within the protocol ecosystem including governance voting, staking for revenue share, and cross-chain transfers.

<Accordion title="How do I get TEDP?">
  On testnet, claim from the faucet. On mainnet, TEDP will be available through DEX trading, liquidity mining, and airdrops.

<Accordion title="What can I do with TEDP?">
  TEDP has three main utilities: **Governance** lets you vote on protocol parameters, supported chains, and fee structures. **Staking** earns you a share of protocol revenue (50% of fees go to stakers, with 8-15% expected APY). **Cross-Chain Transfers** are seamless via LayerZero OFT standard.

<Accordion title="Is TEDP cross-chain?">
  Yes. TEDP uses the LayerZero OFT standard, meaning you can transfer it across any supported chain without bridges or wrapped versions.

### Networks

<Accordion title="Which networks are supported?">
  TED Protocol is active on Ethereum (L1), Arbitrum (L2), Base (L2), Polygon (L2), BNB Chain (L1), and Kaia (L1).

<Accordion title="How do I add a network to my wallet?">
  Most wallets auto-detect networks. If needed, find network details in [Supported Networks](/protocol/supported-networks).

<Accordion title="Which network should I use?">
  For lowest fees, use Base, Arbitrum, or Kaia. For highest liquidity, use Ethereum or Arbitrum. For fastest transactions, use Base or Kaia.

### Security

<Accordion title="Is TED Protocol audited?">
  Security audits are scheduled. See [Audits](/security/audits) for current status.

<Accordion title="What if there's a bug?">
  TED Protocol has emergency pause functionality. If an issue is detected, the protocol can be paused immediately, users can still withdraw funds, a fix is deployed and audited, then the protocol resumes.

<Accordion title="How do I report a vulnerability?">
  Email [security@tedprotocol.io](mailto:security@tedprotocol.io) with a detailed description, steps to reproduce, and potential impact. Bug bounty rewards go up to \$100,000 for critical issues.

### Troubleshooting

<Accordion title="My transaction is pending.">
  Check network congestion, verify gas price is sufficient, wait for network confirmation, or speed up/cancel in your wallet if stuck.

<Accordion title="I don't see my tokens.">
  Wait for transaction confirmation, add the token to your wallet if it's custom, check the correct network is selected, and verify the transaction on a block explorer.

<Accordion title="The app isn't loading.">
  Check your internet connection, try refreshing the page, clear browser cache, try a different browser, or check the TED Protocol status page.

<Accordion title="My wallet won't connect.">
  Ensure your wallet is unlocked, check you're on a supported network, try disconnecting and reconnecting, or try a different wallet.
